Remembering Don Pedro aspires to be a multi-media platform that brings to light Don Pedro’s history and the issues he organized against.
We seek to publish, online and/or in print, works that focus on Don Pedro or the things he spoke about and fought for. We also seek to participate in projects, temporary or permanent, that support Remembering Don Pedro’s mission.
Since launching in July 2020 as a website to chronicle the life and legacy of Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos, Remembering Don Pedro has developed into a larger project honoring the late Puerto Rican figure. This website serves the dual purpose of hosting an online history of Don Pedro and highlighting the works/projects that are developed with support from Remembering Don Pedro as a larger platform.
Remembering Don Pedro works/projects can include: articles, poetry, books, visual art, photography, videos, exhibitions (virtual or in-person), workshops, podcasts, and more. New proposals should be made through the RDP Submissions Form.
We are also looking for people to participate in the future growth and development of Remembering Don Pedro. If you have a background in writing, editing, art, design, or anything you believe this platform can benefit from, contact us and let us know how you would like to participate!
